Brake light

Hi Can anybody give any advise on the problem I have on my Berlingo I have just bought !!
It is a 2002 mk1 1.9 diesel
When the side light are off and you press the Brake pedal all the side lights come on including the dash back lights !!
I have removed both rear bulb holders and it still does it !!! :brickwall:
ANY IDEAS !

Sounds like bad earths. Check the ones behind the rear light clusters.:thumbsup:
