Bsi Water damaged, Changing questions?
#1
Hello

sorry to bother with this post

iv currently got a friends 2003 mk2 berlingo van and it had a water leak from the window which damaged the bsi, weve changed the bsi to a model from a similar vehicle

the lights and dash still remain illuminate and ac t strangely

the bsi code is

bsi e01-00 hg

i do have pp2000 and lexia and was wondering if i could code the the new bsi from the previous one and if anyone has any experience?

also if anyone has any knowledge on how to successfully change the bsi to another one, the bsi weve changed to does have the same model number it is second hand but from the same model

if anyone has any suggestions, on how to go about doing it correctly

regards

save coding from old one(if still works?) or swap eeprom?
To reuse S/H BSI it needs to be virginised (effectively wiping data to 'as new')
Fit new & change coding/vin no. program keys with pin no.
Check everything works Smile
