gearbox / clutch

Ive just been told that my gearbox is dying and the clutch should be done at the same time.
The garage recommend that I source a recon gearbox and a clutch for them to fit, can anyone recommend a supplier, Im in the highlands if it makes a difference.

It certainly makes sense to replace the clutch while the gearbox is off,it's only a few bolts & loads of peace of mind.As for the gearbox,ask local garages for sources & don't buy the cheapest.:thumbsup:alut:

The clutch wants to be all new.

The fact that you're in the Highlands may make a difference to the carriage charge but that's all.
