Diesel/ Filter Problem
#1
I have developed a fuel problem on the van since changing the filter on Saturday. I now have to prime the filter bowl every time i start the van before going anywhere. I have changed the new o ring in the lid of the housing back to the old one to see if that made any difference, which it didn't and have checked all pipe fittings etc and they seem ok. Once running the engine is fine with no miss fire that would point to air in the system but was wondering if there might be a NRV in the fuel line which is faulty? I have had this van 7yrs and do all my own repairs and servicing but have never experienced anything like this annoying problem, Any of you chaps had similar probs?.

If it's the 1.9,the filter lid is known to crack/split.Worth checking.Confusedalut:
