2013 Berlingo Enterprise - Teletrac

Guys

Can anyone help me out here.

I've bought a 2013 Berlingo from Donnelly's in Dungannon, Northern Ireland and it came fitted with a Teletrac unit. However, I am using the van down south and I cannot activate the unit, just doesn't connect.

Any ideas?

Secondly, the power cable looks like a standard mini USB but does fit into my Garmin, seem to be slightly different. Has anyone mangered to use the cable with a Garmin or TomTom. It would say having to plug the Garmin into the lighter socket.

Ok, after doing a bit of investigation it seems that the Mini USB cable which powers the SmartNav is actually a 10pin Mini USB connector whereas most other SatNav systems use a 5pin Mini USB connector.

Don't seem to be able to get a convertor for them so I order some 10pin Mini USB female sockets and going to make my own SmartNav-2-Garmin cable.

It's only 2 wires that need soldering, pin 1 (+5v) and pint 5 (GRND)

Should be a simply enough job, then I can use my Garmin or TomTom from the SmartNav cable.
