berlingo faults help

hi ive just got a berlingo multispace forte on a 51 plate.its got a cpouple of problems i could do with some advice on.when you lock the car with the key or the remote fob,the alarm goes off.the guy ibought it off said its done it since he got a new key for it.is there any way of turning the alarm of or disabling it,the previous owner has disconcted the siren so just the lights flash now.thanks

Do you know if it's a factory fitted alarm or an after market Confusedcratch:
2006 2.0hdi 600 with bench seat.  Cool

IM NOT SURE IT SAYS TEXALARM ON THE BACK OF THE BOXUNDER THE STEERING COLUM,I,VE DISCONECTED ALL THE WIRES FROM THE BOX AND ITS STOPED THE LIGHTS FLASHING.
