Where do i find the fuel priming bulb???

Anyone got any pics or a good description where the bulb or whatever it is is on my 99 1.9d PLEASE!!!:brickwall::brickwall::brickwall::brickwall::brickwall:

Do a search. There are definitely some pics of it on here in old threads.

I don't have that engine, but have seen it posted before.

Its usually sitting on the top of the engine ,above the cam belt, roughly in front off the brake master cylinder with a fuel pipe connected to each end. There is a return to tank fuel pipe beside it.
If its not that obvious then its not there.cratch:

Must have been removed at one time.
There was some posts from someone trying to sell them but as most 1.9ds have (had) them I don't think he got many buyers. They may still be on sale on fleabay. tudy:

If it doesn't have the bulb maybe it has the pushbutton version? In which case it will be on the side of the fuel filter front passenger side of the engine.

Depends which engine.
XUD should have a small rugby ball shaped ball with fuel lines attached somewhere near the offside wing.

DW8 has a button on top of the fuel filter which is at the battery end of the engine.

You will have got air in now but your original problem sounds like heater plugs not working ie athe almost starts.
