Dw8 missing HELP
#1
Sad
Hi guys my first post Big Grin

I have a 1998 berlingo 1.9 dw8

It seems to have 2 coolant temperature sensors one look blue and one green
When I got it the green one was disconnected didn't think anything of it as it went great. When I connect the green one back up after about 5 mins down the road the engine starts missing if I leave it disconnected all runs great ??? I have changed the green top sensor for a new one today but it's still the same ??

Am I right in saying the green one controls the glow plugs as when connected glow plug light stays on for a short time when warm and longer when engine is cold

Please help lol thanks Mike

Out of interest does yours have Aircon. My 1.4 does and has 2 semsors. I believe 1 is an emergency fan cut in if the engine overheats.
