[Engine] Cooling water leak help needed.
#1
Hi. We have a Berlingo that is loosing water and setting the low level warning, I have noticed that there is a steady drip coming from where the heater pipes are fixed to the engine on the near side of the engine, I assume the water comes up from somewhere on the bottom of the engine goes up into the heater and back down again, but does anybody know what it goes to and from, is the return taken back to the radiator bottom hose and where does the feed connect too.
Regards Mike.

There are lots of different engines in the Berlingos , Which one are you talking about , ie diesel or petrol , 1.9 or 1.6 or 2 litre turbo or not ? The age can also give us a clue
The hot coolant for the heater usually comes from the cylinder head to the heater to the radiator via lower radiator hose to the cylinder head again .
