Hi carpfanatic, here in Switzerland there are many things that pass as *biodiesel* made from a number of sources. I'd check with Citroén to see what they say.

Biodiesel, in theory, can go in ALL diesel engines.
But...
The only manufacturers who officially recommend 100% biodiesel are VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda.
Follow this link; explains better than I can...

No need to thank me.
I have a friend who works at a Morissons filling station and they have stopped selling it. (Not sure if this is a nationwide policy?)
They were selling £30 to £50 biodiesel a day compared to £40,000 petrol/diesel combined in a day!
What does that tell you...?

I wouldn't touch it. We are seeing more and more bio diesel related problems at work. I did post about it a week or so ago.
I have some nice pics of what it does to injectors which I will add when I fire the pc up next.

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

According to Citroen, you can use up to 30/70 bio diesel (ie 30% plant oil to 70% mineral oil) I have used it on the continent & found no problems with it.Veggie oil is a no no for HDI engines,so I have been led to believe on various websites. If in doubt, don't.

It tells me there is customer resistance to it,not that it is a bad fuel necessarily.

Hi Ron.
Thanks for the reply; agree totally.
I have a customer resistance to salad. Doesn't make it bad food!

I thought ALL Berlingo owners wore sandals & ate salad.

Sandals and salad?
Try cowboy boots and curry!
