Timing Belt
#1
Anyone know how this has started to happen? I keep a regular check on the Timing belt because I know its nearly time for it to be changed. It looked ok 2-3 weeks ago now it looks like this.

I didn't think it would start to break like this. it looks like the outside has started to break. should i just change it to look for another problem?

Ok, Thanks. I'll invest in a timing belt kit.

:eek: Change it yesterday!! Get the pulleys checked and a new water pump fitted while its off. I wouldn't drive it with a cam belt like that!
In fact I'd be feeling very uneasy running the engine at all.
