Changing a BSI
Hi guys I am wondering what is involved with changing a BSI unit, I have a 07 1.6 hdi and I am have trouble with permanent live to instrument panels and also my dials are starting to act up. Any help would be great thanks in advance
Depend so if you want to fit a new or used one, I would say that neither is easy !
I would say secondhand my friend is a Mecanic and knows a lot about the electronic side of things he is just not too up on his citroens.
Do I need BSI ecu ignition barrel and key from doner car?
Yes, you will need the full kit if second hand.
Ok I found a set on eBay, clocks key ecu BSI and ignition reader there for a 1.6 hdi and are bosh units,
question 1: what programing work will I have to do to make all this work.
Question 2: if I change the clocks will my mileage be wrong?
