Assuming I'm going to have to scrap my Berlingo, the tyres are virtually new. The back ones have only done about 300 miles. So.... my wife's Skoda has 165/70R14 tyres, mine has 175/70R14. Do you think my tyres would fit on her car?

Thanks Ron. The tyre inflation label on the door pillar quotes tyres up to 185 or thereabouts for her engine so it should be ok.
I'm waiting on the garage to tell me how much before I decide what to do. Until then I'm on the motorbike. Might get a Berlingo or possibly a Xsara Picasso.

By my reckoning you have about another 160Kg of weight to play with assuming 600Kg payload maximum.
