New guy says hi

Hi folks thought I would introduce myself. I'm from sunny manchester and have just bought a dog rough but generally sound 99 partner for next to nothing. I'm not sure exactly which one it is. It's a mk1 800 apparently and has power steering but I thought all the 800s had the turbo engine but this feels slow as hell. Unless the turbo is on its way out but I'm not bothered anyway cos it's roof rack and exhaust are worth more than I paid so I'm a happy bunny.

Anyway I'm going for a look around the site and thanks in advance for the numerous questions I will be posing thanks.

Agree with Ron! It's probably a 1.9D. Will last forever!
Just be prepared to leave a bit earlier! What does the log sheet say it is??
