Where's Jack!
#1
Hi and hello to you all - we've just bought a 54 Desire so are now officially a member of your club!!!!!

Does anyone please know where the jack and wheelnut spanner is kept - cos its puzzling us - we've looked under the passenger seat nothing - is there a secret compartment where its kept?

Many thanks

open the boot, look to the right, there's a little hidden compartment, I had the same dilemma!

Found it - thank you - we'd been looking for ages! Also just sorted out how the air conditioning/blowers work - wife had been moaning that these didn't give out much air - kept fiddling with the silver bits at the front - then found out that they turn round to get the air out - so that's kept her happy - for now !!

I'm sure we'll be back with lots of other questions - so be warned!

Welcome to the forum!

The jack compartment, by the way, is not only hard to find - it's also easy to lose.

Last year, after years of Berlingo ownership, I had a puncture - and though I had checked out where the jack was in my early days of ownership, I'd completely forgotten. It took me several minutes to locate it!

Now, where's an appropriate emoticon when you need one?
