No such thing as a stupid question (you should see what I deal with everyday). but no, it stops when I turn off the outside air.

My 2012 XTR has exactly the same problem, my left foot ends up frozen, I've looked but can't work out where the air is getting in, will be good in summer though.

I pulled out the pollen filter last night and the breeze is worse this morning, so port of call this evening is motor factors :-))

Hi Folks,

I think i know what the problem is.

The reason why You Get cold air in the passenger foot whell. Is becouse the hose to the glove Box is missing or loose.
Yes thats right You have cold air in the glove Box to keep the drinks cold.

Look in picture 4 and 5 the black pipe in the botom of the picture. Is This missing? This hose should go from the white plastic to a Hole in the back of the glove box

The air that is going out of the round Hole is always cold air. The heater is further up in the dash. And You Cant turn it of. You have a little wheel in the glovebox to close the cold air stream. Or You can plugg the Hole on the white plastic if You dont have the pipe.

My personal car is 2008. The cars at my work is 2009 and 2010. They all have the cold air in glove Box. The 2009 car did not have the pipe factory installed. I just plugged the Hole.

I find the heater is not too clever anyway. There only seems to be a trickle of heat to the footwell but quite a gale out of the dash vents and the car gets stuffy. I wondered if it's possible to adjust the flaps to give more air downstairs.

Hello folks, same problem. Brand-new Multispace 1.6d. During the colder days, left foot went numb with cold, when driving (not stationary) seems to pour cold air out the space under the steering wheel column. The main heater has no effect, and I also agree, the heating is naff, you can't get a happy compromise, you freeze, or it blasts way to much hot air over the screen onto your head/face and it quickly gets unpleasantly stuffy. Apart from this heating fault, I find my berlingo very useful.
