Ground clearance or lack of
#1
Hi all, this maybe a dumb question but is it possible to get more ground clearance only I am finding my Mk2 has the ground clearance of an F1....my last 4 vans were Kangoo's and it had to be extreme to ground them, I replaced the under engine guard this weekend ( was broken when bought) and before fitting I added an Aluminium plate which now gives me audible warning of just how little it takes to rub( my job takes me up rough farm tracks and un maintained drives at times)I'm loving the van but just stating to wonder if I'll be able to keep it!
Steve.

I used to regularly ground the towbar on my MK2 -I darent do half the things on my MK3.

Best ever car for clearance was my C15-you could work underneath it without jacking it up at all.

There is an off road version of the Partner that had slightly raised suspension and a sump guard and a limited slip diff.
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top
