Hi anyone shed light on this, unlocked back door on berlingo mk3 van the other day, then went into the front to retrieve something after unlocking front doors, noticed wipers on and lights on, tried switching them off nothing, put key into ignition nothing, couldn't lock the van, start it or do nothing, all I got on the dash display was anti theft fault and braking system fault, only thing I could do before the battery died on me was to disconnect battery after reconnecting battery everything back to normal, booked in for a diagnostic check on friday anyone any ideas what has caused this??

No idea why but yes we've had something similar happen on a 2010 XTR. Locked car with the remote and wipers started going. Re-entry, a short drive and it stopped..... mutiplex buggerances perhaps. Sometimes the electric window switches are very slow to react as if they are having a bit of a think......
