Today I changed a worn front o/s wishbone. What a swine of a job. Most bolts came out OK but the main bolt through the front bushes/ subframe was awkward. There is a clip that holds the nut in place, of course this just allowed the nut to turn. I had to cut the wishbone out using firstly an angle grinder then a hacksaw. Eventually it came out allowing me to get a ground down spanner on the nut. Stupid design.... 4 hours to change a wishbone.

Mine took about four hours per side. Twenty minutes to remove, an hour to degrease and scrub, an hour to renew bushes and balljoint; the rest to refit, bounce/roll to find resting position of anti-roll bar, and torque down.
