berlingo spares or repair
#1
I'll be honest, this was the worst car ive ever owned and i'd rather it went for spares than done up and sold to some other poor sod.

It must have had about 2 grand spent on repairs in the year ive had it at a guess, amongst others a new alternator a couple of months ago, Fraser brown axle about the same time, back box for exhaust.

Engine runs well, There's a fluid leak I never got to the root of, the engine management and temp lights are on and off like a whores drawers and now there's a godawful noise coming from the gearbox and the local mechanic reckons its shot.

Its starts and will move under its own power, not far tho by the sound of it. from memory there's about 83k on the clock. I'm not bothering to check now but there may even be a few days left on the tax and mot but its getting sorned in the next few days.

Part of me wants to scrap it to put an end to it for once and for all, but I spent £500 buying the axle alone and it seems a waste.

If you can use it, and I can kid myself that you intend to use it for spares or take a chance on repairing it for your own use, rather than inflicting it on an innocent then I reckon you could get it for a good price, make me an offer.

Sounds great? well the bad news is I'm located in the Highlands so i'm miles away from most of you.

Any replies here and good luck Smile
