hi I have a 3 year old XTR and only last month i replaced the tyres with the original Michelin primacy 3 . Since then it pulls to the left as soon as you take your hands off the wheel. 3 different tyres suppliers have failed to correct the problem.As a left hand drive car in the UK i cant believe comments about an EU directive requiring cars to constantly veer left,in France this would steer you into oncoming traffic.Any thoughts would help ,cherrs Gordon

Are you saying that the tyres have been replaced on three occasions ?

I presume the problem was not there before the tyres were renewed ?

Hi no the tyres were new and I took it to 3 different places to get the alignment done ,but everyone says that there is no problem. It didnt exist before I replaced the tyres.I fail to see how brand new Michelin tyres could be the cause,the brakes dont bind,the tyre pressures are correct etc etc.
could it be a problem with the power steering? ITS REALLY ANNOYING.

I read an article in Auto Express issue 1'300 and issue 1.303 about this it's not just the Berlingo doing this Skoda and Vauxhall as well after new tyre's only after changing again to another brand the problem was solved ??

Try swapping the front tyres for the rears to see if it goes away.

edit .... I mean swap the wheels around of course !

hi Jed thats truly bizarre.I deliberately put the same Michelins on again as I got 35000 miles on them from new ,so I bit the bullet and paid out £420 for 4
thinking I would get another 3 years trouble free motoring And yes the front have been put on the back and so forth..It seems incredible that this would be the case.Have we uncovered a peviously unknown phenomena. Watch this space. The plot thickens.

Not being one who buys new cars ( weep ) .................. does your vehicle have a full sized spare ?

Try swapping the spare with a front wheel and see how it goes.....then try swapping with the other front wheel.

Just a though, you may get lucky.

Hi geoff. yes it does have a full sized spare ,tried that but as the man said ,no cigar.I still get back to the same conclusion that because iits left hand drive,maybe,the alignment machines machines are set differently ,eg for right hand vehicles..I wont be offended if someone tells me not to be so stupid.I will book it into the main citroen dealer soon and let you all know the outcome.Thanks again Gordon
