Wrong-Fuel Device - how to remove?
#1
In my new 1.6d Berlingo, there's a gadget fitted at the opening of the fuel tank neck, that is meant to prevent a petrol nozzle being inserted.

Trouble is, my stock of 'Jerry Can' spouts don't fit past this device, and when I need to use the jerry can to top-up, it takes forever as the device blocks the spout from entering the fuel tank neck properly, and fuel spills out sometimes.

Easy to remove this thing without damage to replace when I sell on?

I've seen some flexible spouts that go on the end of a normal filler spout. Might it be possible to get one that is compatible with the diesel filler mechanism on the car? Or a diesel specific filler spout for a normal Jerry can?? Just a thought.
