fan comes on but no air through vents

Hi all,
I have a citroen berlingo 1999,
Originally my heaters only worked when I turned the dial to number 4 but now when I turn it to 4 the fan comes on but no air comes through the vents.
I over turned the control and it clicked out of place, does the mean the heating control needs to be replaced? Any ideas?

Hi,I would check the control cable has not been forced out of its clip. Is there any movement at all?alut:

Yeah it still moves-ish. The housing for 1,2,3,4 is now on the opposite side but if I force the dial to number 4 the fan still comes on but no air through the vents. Do I have to remove the whole centre console? Thanks for the reply, Sol
