Hello new to citroen

Hi everyone new to this forum and also new to citroen ...im in prosess of buying my first berlingo enterprise van looking at a 90ps 61 plate ...have just changed fron a vauxhall combo crew cab .....any one no any bad points on the berlingo vans ....need one with aircon and 3 front seats ..also any good deals on these ...problem is for me is the VAT as its for my own personal use and dont run a business it gutting having to pay £1200 to £1400 on top of the price and will never see it lol ....any idears lads .....kev

Hello Kev welcome to the forum make sure it's got a full service history keep it well serviced l if your doing lots of stop start's do it every 6'000 mile's if your doing long run's every 8'000 mile's do a long test drive to make sure you like it i'm sure you will :thumbsup:

Thanks mate will deffo keep this in mined as i say its will be used as a car realy and for my fishing will not be used as a work van at all ....be lucky if i did 6000 miles a year in it lol .....just trying to fined one around £6000 mark with no vat is this in the ball park in price do you think

I would not buy a van if I didn't need one. The insurance is going to be dearer
and second hand vans will have had a harder life. I would be looking at a Multispace.
Same amount of room inside....plenty for fishing gear. Even carp holdalls will fit inside.
Maybe an ex-Motability car would suit....

Yes i would get a multispace darken the rear windows and either fold the seats up or remove them,and if your getting a mk3 you could get the internal roof bars for your rods.Plus no vat .Big Grin

hi kev i have citreon blinds on my back windows it is very hard to see in and the internal roof bars are great hope u get what you are looking for

Thanks for all your replys didnt see them and have now bought a multispace xtr 11 plate just waiting for it to come in to citroen next week i hope ...will keep you all posted with pics when it arrives ....thanks kev
