dash clocks replacement help plz

Hi all my dash clocks, fuel gage and temp gauges have died on my 2001/02 1.9d berlingo van

Figured it's the actual clocks and not a censor or another fault so I'm after a new dash and just wondering if a set of clocks straight from a 1.4 2001 multispace would fit my van as i have sourced a cheap mail order one.
They look identical and look like they will fit but i'm just abit worried about connections and stuff at the back.
mileage is also lower on new set so would update auto right?
edit also it's petrol, mine is diesel does that make a difference.
would appreciate some help please thanks

did you check fuses for this,,, i wouldn't think replacing the clock will solve it,, something else wrong,,

yeah checked fuses and bsi reset nothing. all the clocks don't work, speedo, rpm, temp and fuel. the LCD display light comes on but shows no mileage.
all the lights on dash work though like ecu and brake etc so the unit is powered just not working correctly.
