Sliding doors.

Should the runners on the passengers doors be lubricated ?

I've never lubricated mine, I just wash them while washing car. If they are stiff then use aerosol silicone lubricant, don't use anything oil based like WD40 as it will attract grit & dust.

Hi guys, I'm new to the scene and my driver side sliding door has a fault with the door catch at the bottom , the handle is fine and I can open the door both from inside and out. The issue I have is when it opens fully and catches to stay open I have to manually move the catch to open it over the stop. I checked the other door and when I pull the handle there seems to be a spring that opens and closes the latch
