Two speed forum , slow and stopped.

Does anyone else have to sit and twiddle your thumbs while this forum loads?.

I've even gave up answering some queries as it would not preview or submit my answers.

The other forums I use connecting is instant and no waiting when submitting anything.

Anyone ?

Yes I get the same here Sad Sometimes I even get a holding page something to do with 'Gator'
I have a full speed FTTC connection and this is the only place get the slow load.
I wonder if it is because a lot of people are reading/replying to messages at the same time ?

Yes, this morning a little after 0600 (my time) I was zapping a spammer and it was really slow. The site is now hosted in Provo, Utah according to Geotool (used to be in Texas). BTW, the NSA is building an enormous computer spy center in Utah - maybe they're piggy backing off the Berlingo forum :lol:

Funny this has been brought up today as I was having the same problem with virtually all web sites last night

Cured it by clearing my internet cache, now it is back to normal again

ntm1275 It may be worth you using a catch cleaner utility like ccleaner, I have used it for years and it does save clutter on your pc.

I've set it now to automatically clear the cache each time I close the web browser, so shouldn't have that issue again

This won't impact much as web page caching was introduced during dial-up times to help to speed up loading of pages, but these days with the current broadband speeds caching may only speed it up by miliseconds

I think it may have broken earlier, as I couldn't get into it at all.
