[Engine] Very cold weather
#1
In very cold weather engine shudders when temp gauge starts to move up to working temp?
Anyone had this problem?

I've had mine parked at -21 overnight and it fired right off and didn't balk at all. Did take a few minutes to un-steam the windows though after we got inside. I do burn only Shell V-Power diesel which the pumps claim is protected to -30 (in winter).

Deisel has a summer & winter formulation.Summer diesel will wax when cold & as the fuel heater warms up the running will improve. Is the fuel filter dirty(old)? Try running some Forte or Millers through to clean the system.:thumbsup:Confusedalut:
