Steering uv joint
#1
Dear All
I have a 2ltr HDi Berlingo 2006. My local garage has told me that the uv joint on the steering is the cause of the play on the steering. Basically the steerign wheel moves approximately 2 inches either way before the wheels move. The uv joint did get knotty in the winter and a quick spray of WD40 solved it at the time. Can anyone advise how hard a job it is to replace please? Any special tools etc?
Thanks for help.

The below should be a link to the parts diagram which may help. The part is main dealer only around £60.
