1.6hdi engine blown, 2.0 hdi into 1.6? anybody done it??

Ive a 1.6 hdi the turbo went and now engine wont start tbhink its done some damage, ive a 2.0 hdi engine and box lying and i can get a complete engine and dash loom out of a 2.0 hdi berlingo would there be any other major hassles? be alot cheaper that paying what some places are asking for a 1.6 hdi engine with turbo,cheers for any advice

This would be a pretty major undertaking, there may be differences in the subframe engine mount, driveshafts, abs systems are different . Radiator & hoses are different, the job of changing the wiring & getting it all to work would be something I wouldn't even consider personally.
