Rubber seals and locks
#1
Hi there havn't been here a while, I think I spoke about the rubber seals that are glued to the frames along the top where the doors meet when closed, well mine are loose and I would like to replace them, can anyone advise where I can get them, also all the locks are tricky to open I have to stab in the key and turn quickly every time I lock and unlock, did source a link a while ago for a replacement set about £70 plus Vat but lost it. Its a 1.4 multispace forte (Y) there must be some guys out there with the same problem, on a lighter note:

Heard the one about the fat, alcaholic transvestite?...
All he wanted to do was eat, drink and be Mary!!!!!!!!!!!

Quick look on the Citroen service site looks to be about £110 per side - that's to do the front and rear doors and the long strip that goes above them both

00009023FF DR WEATHERSTRIP 41.62 GBP 49.94 GBP 49.94 GBP

00009023Z1 DR WEATHERSTRIP 32.62 GBP 39.14 GBP 39.14 GBP

00009023NL SEAL 17.44 GBP 20.93 GBP 20.93 GBP

That's inc VAT

Cheers Coco, I found a link further down the forum but still trying to work out how to get to the parts section, think I'll have to register.

Thanks

Did you click on the "affiche.do.htm" ? If so, did it open ? This should give you the text to go with the picture.

Sorry I couldn't get it to load together, but I am next to useless with computers - there's nowhere to put a spanner see?
