Trying to be polite here by referring to the problem as bird droppings .......
Where I park my Berlingo on my drive is beneath an ornamental tree which is on next doors property. At this time of year pigeons are attracted to the blossom. Daily I clean the roof, bonnet or anywhere which is splattered by these pigeons.
Does anyone know of a product - polish, sealant or other which would prevent the paintwork being damaged by this nuisance, it's not really practical to have a cover which would be removed and replaced daily.
Thanks

Speaking as a pest controller: depends on the severity - are they only up there during the day or roosting at night as well (the latter is a far more challenging problem). Day only? Then I'd be inclined to use 'fire gel'. It's a fairly new thing but, in simple terms it looks to the bird like fire. Comes pre-loaded in small (2cm) dishes and can be stuck on branches, etc. with silicone sealant. Works wonders.
If they're roosting then the shotgun is the more realistic solution - airgun is more normal and socially acceptable - but if the tree isn't in your garden, you'll need to work with the owner & it could still be a challenge: shooting upwards isn't wise...
Of course, I'm assuming the tree has to stay. Be terrible if a friendly Land rover owning buddy backed into it & you offered to replace it with a nice small Acer...;-)
Last bit in jest but the rest is serious. Not sure you can get the gell stuff in the shops but it's not a Pro-only product as there's no chemicals in it but it's about £40 for a 20-odd dishes from memory.
