A Caddy?
Is it manual or automatic?
(I really despise the DSG gearing on the one I drive at the office.)
Also, many Caddys have a problem with the door sensor in the rear, so you have to really SLAM the door closed to avoid the light staying on...
And finally, get a window mounted on the passenger-side sliding door. It may cost you £500 to get it done properly at a VW shop, but it's well worth it for the improved visibility when you're on a road that comes up to another at an awkward angle.
