If the intention is to use it with a Berlingo, it mentions that it is only compatible with a Citroen C3 2004

That would immediately make me look elswhere

Thanks for that, had enough problems getting a hand-held scanner that would communicate with the old girl, seems she is a bit "touchy" who she talks to.... The earlier devices that should communicate universally would not hook up correctly or were not compatible with the wonderful world of Cit/Pug Electrickery !!!

I bought this one: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Super-Mini-ELM327...OC:US:3160

I believe it's same as on your link. I received it (to Slovenia) about a fortnight after ordering it and it works just fine on my 2008 1.6 hdi mk2 Berlingo. It did take some time for the first time to connect and I still have to wait a minute or two everytime i'm connecting. It even happens once in a while that it won't connect and then I just unplug and plug the adapter back in and it works... So all in all quite a usefull gadget for the money.

I use it with Torque app (on Galaxy S2). It lacks some sensor readings (like catalyst temp etc.). I get quite a lot more readings on a 2010 Ford Focus, but there's a bloke out there that is suppose to be figuring out the correct connections between the sensor signals in Berlingo and the torque app.
