We own a mk1 and a mk2 and the doors look identical but have been told in the past that they are not, I don't know what makes them different, maybe someone else can shed soe light on this.

I've had a look on the forum to get an answer to this query and there are several posts with the question and no answers, does nobody know if the Mk1 front doors will fit on the Mk2??
My guess is that they are the same, but that is just that. A guess!!!!!!
Has anybody tried swapping them over???

Doing a bit of research on the old tinter web and the Mk2 is described as a face lifted Mk1, with the face lift consisting of a remodelled interior, grill and light clusters. So maybe all the rest of it is the same???
