Hello everyone!
#1
We are looking to buy a Berlingo, cheap as possible, for general running around, transporting a 5" gauge steam loco and associated items.

It will also be used as a project for our 14 year old who is starting a vehicle tech course in September, he can do it up and improve it, then it will be his when he is 17.

What engines would you say would be easiest for a lad and his dad to work on and keep going?

1.4 petrol, providing you don't cook it. Or the 1.9 non-turbo diesel.
