Yes but surely there is no point someone going through 'the knowledge' to get a taxi licence and then any member of your family can use it, it's just daft.

I have my full UK amateur radio licence and yes other people can use my call sign, but under supervision.

I still see it as an attack on minicabs, presumably from a competing interest, using a perceived security failing.

The family members will not be using it for hire and reward, for private car use only. It's the way the media puts it out as they will all use it as a taxi and rape people.
