[Engine] 1.6 HDI Main bearings

I have a poorly berlingo and I was thinking of rebuilding the engine. In the haynes manual it says you need a special tool to replace the main bearings on the 1.6hdi to keep them central. Is there any way around this as I cannot seem to locate one anywhere.
