Bumper Replacement, OH DEER!
#1
Well last Thursday while driving through Thetford Forest at 6AM I came in collision with a young stag deer, not too much damage, lower half of bumper and a few bit of plastic under the car, behind the bumper etc

so anyway, I think I got away lucky compared to a friend who the day before Avoided hitting a deer

so yesterday, I set about changing the front bumper, I did this with wheels on and NO JACK,

half way through
then split the lower and upper halfs of the bumper

much better with its face back on, just need a new grille and it'll be as good as new.

so if anyone says you can't do it on it's wheels they haven't tried hard enough,
sorry I couldn't do a step by ctep, I was at work and was against the clock so to speak,

there is only 10mm bolts holding it on and the torx along the slam panel, 3 bolts under front end, 2 bolts either side for the white(in my case) bumper grille bit you'll need to remove inner arches for this and many easy to remove clips

went online and think it was 1st choice car parts, was £99 plus £10 postage for the lower half of the bumper, and obviously saved by fitting myself, just waiting on getting a grille and then no one would ever know it'd had a smack.. oh and it needs a mirror cap

Not a bad price and putting it on your self saved a fair few quid good work Confusedalut:
