overhearing berlingo
#1
Hi guys,
Having a bit of bother with my 2006 1.9d berlingo. Lately I've noticed that while sitting in traffic for a few mins my engine temp gauge is rising above 90`c. While driving it's sits back down below 80`c I've never heard the fan running and was wondering is it possible a fuse/star might be blown but have no manual to check where these might be fitted. I've plenty of coolant and it only happens while idling in traffic. If I turn on the heating full blast it drops below 90`c
Any help would be great
Cheers.....

May be the fan, yes.

Check if you can turn it manually.
(Bearings may have seized. They may not be used every day, after all, and it is a rather dirty environment)
