What's the box between the seats called?
#1
I'm hoping someone can help me, on some models of the berlingo/partner mk3 there's a box that sits between the front seats with a roll back lid you can stick stuff inside it and keep the car clutter free. I'd call it a centre console or cubbyhole, but searching for these shows either gear stick surrounds or nasty looking arm rests, and not the box I'm interested in fitting.

I'm hoping there's a name for it, and furthermore that it's a simple bolt in option. Most of the partner outdoor models I've looked at seem to not have this as a fitted, and I'm finding it difficult to find something when I don't know what crazy French name it's been given.

Hoping anyone can help me.

Me too. Center Console is what i would call it - an arm rest with storage under the padded rest. i have looked at several different designs, but i cant see how they would fit around and still allow operation of the hand brake.
A recommendation of the right design would be really helpful Smile

Dawntreader - There's a genuine box where my understanding is you remove the floor tray/ handbrake surround, fit the alternate base/handbrake surround, then the box goes on top allowing you to store more stuff and things. However the tops not padded, it's a lid that rolls back. The padded arm rests seem to be attached to the actual seat backs. But the problem is what's it called.

Thanks Ricardo, that's the fellah I'm seeking. When I get my berlingo/partner, it's going to be the first thing I fit, if it's not already there.

Thanks to Ricardo for the detail.

I have a base model with no arm rests on the basic front seats. I have seen after market padded consoles that have both storage and a padded top so it acts as an arm rest. This is what i would be interested in.

Have a look at this thread http://www.berlingoforum.co.uk/showthrea...er+Console
This does not interfere with the handbrake but does make using the passengers seatbelt slightly fiddly.

Thanks Trevor, i have ordered this armrest centre console . the measurements suggest it will fit the existing tray without impeding on the handbrake. £20 delivered.
There are roll top storage consoles by this vender at the same price, but i cant vouch for the accuracy of the fit.

Nice.

I'll need to check the measurements, but I have a suspicion it will fit my Mk. I, too...
