Diesel tank breather pipe
#1
Just changed the rear axle on my berlingo, 2.0 hdi mpv and managed to catch the diesel breather pipe and pull it from the tank.
Does anyone know if its possible to replace this with out removing the tank , also if the tank has to be removed/dropped it is full of fuel, could I run the vehicle with the pipe out until the tank is nearer empty or should I drain it.
Thanks for any advice

You could run it until nearly empty as long as you don't try to cross fords or deep water.
