Ah that might well explain it, the ecu uses a default airflow value if the MAF is faulty. Surprised you didn't get an EML.

Lots of smoke indicate too much fuel / not enough air in the mix, so maybe not enough boost. Has the EML / Check engine light gone out? Maybe disconnect the MAF to see if things improve. IIRC the 2.0 ... |

the cable i fitted came from europarts.
and as i said i now have a great clutch..very light which is somehing... |

Kna, Wouldnt get the same spec. Mines the L2 with the sliding crew van seats, plus by the time I find one with cruise control take all my hifi stuff out and refit it all would cost me more imo. Turbo ... |
