Hi everyone. I have been reading this post with some interest as I have nearly the same problem. I have changed the head on my 2.0 HDI 2001 Berlingo and it refuses to start. From cold the glow plug relay does not come on the temp sensor is reading 5000 ohms the glow plugs will come on if I push the relay in by hand and they all been replaced same as cam sensor. I get the 12volts permanent and switched 12 volts plus the ecu voltage at the relay. My mate came over with his Solus Pro and cleared all the faults we cranked it with easy start it started ok but if you stopped it the van wont start again. The codes read is now cylinder 1 reference which I am assuming is cam sensor but it has been changed(P0344 and P0341) I cannot explain why the glow plug relay wont kick in or why the car wont start so hoping I can get some help. I was wondering though if the timing was one tooth out would this effect the cam sensor to crank sensor synchronisation? I too changed the turbo. I have cleaned the connections but not checked the round connectors or earths yet but it ran before the head change any ideas? Thanks guys
