In my opinion at least.

1 The indicaters. Three flashes minimum. And, when you turn them off after traversing a corner, you might accidently knock it on in the opposite direction. Three flashes again, minimum. Dangerous! Needs to be sorted!!

2 If you have longish legs and sit back, the handbrake is a pain, the gearlever isn`t ideally placed either.

These may not affect you guys. Be intersting to know though . . . before I get my next one!
Thats motorway mode (RTFM)Confusedtudy:
Just a nudge will give you 3 flashes -enough to change lanes.
A firmer pull on the lever will engage the detent and you have as many flashes as you want.
I was initially finding I too was switching on the opposite blinkenlichten-tickentocken by mistake but I just got less clumsy and the problem went away.Wink
As far as the painful gear and handbrake levers go (all the way up by the sound of it:eekSmile I find sitting on the seat instead is much more comfotable:whistle:

Well I did RTFM,and even if I use the detent with a quick on and off,it's still 3 flashes.
I think it's more annoying for other motorists when you accidentally knock the stalk when turning the wheel, the driver behind is thinking WTF is this idiot doing?

I'm the idiot,and I don't even know what I'm doing!
I think the gearstick unit should be sculpted away on the drivers side. I find my leg bangs up against it. Also the storage box between the seats at the front on my XTR. Why is it SOOOOO big? What the 'eck was it designed to store?

The storage box makes it difficult for front passenger to clip in and out seatbelt, rear seatbelts a pain to use on XTR
I bought a seat box specifically for my VTR as normally they dont have one, its magic, store cd`s, money, and all odds and sods. Its brill. [expensive but brill].

I think the storage box is designed to replace the lost space as the two small top lockers are now removed from the modutop?

The box was definitely designed for Chinese carryouts and fish & chips. . . . it contains the smell somewhat, too heh heh
Biggest drawback for me of the newer models I've driven is the choice between dropping the driver seat right down so it's uncomfortably low or beating one's brains out on the overhead shelf :brickwall:

Pretty poor design making it unsafe for taller driversSad

No such headroom challenges in the Mk2 so why the retrograde step?
