The brake pedal switch . ?

Check for voltage at the switch, ignition on. Its slightly akward to get to but I think you need to remove the fuse box flap/cover under the steering wheel.

id be looking at earth on the centre one...if other lights in the left cluster ar working that should be earthed ok, corrosion in the bulb holder so bulb not earthing...does the red rear light work?.... could be a broken wire to lhs cluster.... cant be the switch if rhs is working.

If RHS light working, could be a break in the loom feeding across to LHS and high level lights????

RE: Electrical. No brake light LHS - staggc - 08-12-2012

the lights, indicators all work on both sides just have no brake lights on RHS(when looking from the back) and middle. switched over the actual bulb casing today and bulbs still the same problem. So the bulbs and actual casing are working fine. does the wiring go to the LHS or RHS first and the feed across the other side?

Ahh, that makes more sense. Check fuse 21 in the Bsi (under steering wheel) this controls the nearside and centre stop light. Confusedalut:

also lads. The brake bulb in question has two elements on it. One for lights (which is working fine) and one for Brake lights which is not work for me. this might help unravel the issue
