lower arms?
#1
I discovered today, that my berlingo has a split ball joint gaiter!!! it has the type that has a fixed ball joint which means replacing the whole arm. is it possible to replace the old arm with a arm which has a removable ball joint?

I think someone did this the other day to their Berl, here's a quick bump so you two can find each other.

Yes you can get wishbones with removable balljoints BUT by the time you come to replace the balljoint again it would probably want bushes in the rest of the wishbone. I cant see the point of just replacing the balljoint as you can buy wishbones for less than £25 a side. To buy a balljoint and the 2 bushes on their own will cost you most of that. I replaced track rod ends, drop links and wishbones for less than £80. I appreciate you have to have the money to do it but just do the let and then you know its all good for a while! Confusedalut:

I got them off ebay! the dealer says there quality parts and i paid 60 with delivery for them, eurocar parts want 60 for 0ne arm, which usually comes in a blank cardboard box .....
