Back in the fold
#1
Greetings all.
After 12 years of ownership with a 2003 2.0HDi with very few problems apart from age and wear & tear I bought a C3 Picasso as I thought I really didn't need all the space. Although all my band gear fitted, including the Double Bass it didn't take long to realise I did miss it a lot, even a tip run was hassle with only room for 2-3 bags in the boot. The final nail in the coffin was in Novemebr when I took our Mums to Germany for a week and we struggled with the luggage as we have a folding wheelchair.
The problem was that I had been spoilt with an Exclusive model with all the bells and whistles and wanted something with Cruise Control and used XTR's seem rare as hen's teeth.
I got offered a 12 plate Airdream but then the dealer offered me a new model for 13K.

Well, I can happily say that I am now the owner of a brand new 65 plate XTR in Kyanos Blue. Even after just 33 miles drive from the dealers yesterday I feel right at home again.
And even better news, it still fits in the garage.

200 miles in and still a happy bunny.
All my gear fits, full PA, monitors, bass rig, double bass etc. 46.2mpg, which is good for a brand new engine when 100 of the miles were at 70mph.
