Just been cursing Citreon for making the forward roof bar slot innaccessible with the likkle netty for tissue hankies up there in front of it. Thinking of Dremeling out a little half-circle. Anyone found a more elegant solution? The grandkids like the 'netty'!

Thanks, Chris, I'll have another look, but it seems my net may be higher. The slot that I assume the bar should fit into is behind the plastic at the bottom. I'll try and get a decent photo up tomorrow.

Fixings for locating internal rack are basically slotted cut-outs situated behind the flaps / doors above sliding doors and above rear side windows. There's a post on the forum which shows home-made internal roof racks.See Coco's link on this thread

According to the Vehicle Configuration on Citroen UK website, the shelf above the windscreen and ability to fit the Interior Roof Bars are still part of the interior features on VTR and XTR and the interior roof bars are available as an option for£140.99. Maybe worth contacting Citroen to make sure, though.

Hi, I needed to set up an internal system this week. I bought 2 extendable poles from Wilkinsons, 4.95 each. They lock by twisting, the same as walking poles. About 2.5 cms diametre.
They are for use with mops, window squeegies etc, Also light metal construction, not plastic. Just fit the into the aperture, expand and twist to lock tight. The boot luggage net I got from TK maxx for 3.50 and just threaded that on. Given a bit of time I will make my own net fron scratch with a plastic washing line, the one with the metal strand inside.Simples.
