Diesel misfueling device
#11
What you need is "DIESEL" in a monotone sat-nav voice..........
Think the strange looks at the pumps may help jolt the brain too....Smile

If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried.

But no mention of Berlingo.
Might be worth an email?
Or this one.

They list one for the Peugeot Partner so I emailed the to confirm that it will fit the Berlingo. They replied saying it would.

I also heard back from Dieselhead who said that there's would also fit the Berlingo.

The problem with all of these devices is that they are designed to fit under a fuel flap, which we don't have. So ours would be exposed to the elements/vandals/theiving scrotes. I also wonder if there would be a problem with the switch which stops the rear door opening when the fuel cap is off - if it doesn't close this switch when fitted then you'll never get the OSR door open!

Looks like I'll just have to rely on my failing memory :brickwall:Confusedcratch:

I couldn't see how they would work either. Big red sticker might be the answer?

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

Hi,
Has anyone used a SoloDiesel fuel cap?
We have in the past filled our 1.9TD Xantia to the brim with petrol but luckily it didn't seem to do any lasting damage (old technology perhaps).
It proved so easy to do when using a pump at a station we don't normally go to - non standard colour coding of the nozzles - is there a standard coloour code? So we are getting a little concerned that we could do the same with the HDi engine which without much doubt would suffer (and our pension!).
Best wishes,
Jim & Tracey
ps Citroën have emailed us to say that the Berlingo has left the factory - so about 3 weeks to wait!

There is no legal requirement to colour code pumps....

Carefully does it...
